A trip to Taiwan isn't complete without visiting a day (morning) market and seeing the variety of clothes, food, and knickknacks available. You can watch certain stalls prep the seafood fresh and cut the fruits in front of you as well. We did have to visit a department store to see the difference in pricing and expectations. Surprisingly, the food was not better even though it could be double or triple the cost of the markets!
