Nice video. I am surprised at how slow the feedhold was to react, although when I used G2 I sort of recall a similar delay. I thought they solved that in newer firmware though. On regular TinyG it's instantaneous. Did you make your own G2 on a Due?

Thanks John. Yes, I made my own G2 on a Due. Thank you for all your work on the project. It has worked very well for me, but there is still room for improvement. These are the bugs I encountered: - Due does not always register the configuration it was sent upon connection (I can see it was sent in the log), I just have to disconnect/reconnect to retry until it works. - Loading new gcode file resets the spindle graphic representation to work zero. Jogging in any direction fixes the position for that axis. Feature requests: - Hardware feedhold/cyclestart buttons (GRBL supports this and the response is instantaneous). I see them indicated on the pinout, but they seem to do nothing. - SPI support for AMIS-30543 driver, which looks interesting.

What model Taig did you start with? I've been converting mine, but it's an older model and I've found fitment issues with the CNC z-screw and bushing and the older style z-main body.

Hey, what speed were you running your steppers?

Keep increasing and jogging across the entire travel until it starts skipping steps. Back off to about 80% of this speed for a baseline. Repeat for each axis.
