I lived in SLC, Ut for 8 years. For the powder. I saw a lot of it at Alta, Snowbird, etc. Even playing drums on gigs at Alta. And twice getting a whiteout, town lockdown, and 3 feet of 11% water content Alta Powder. Both nights in Feb/March they put us up at the Peruvian Lodge bar where we gigged, and put us up for free, with breakfast/hot tub. I walked around outside anyway. But only 50 yards. Like an Antarctic vibe. Then come morning, and 36 inches of powder later, trying to find where our buried cars were? Not easy! I skied the second dump. I'll never forget those gigs.

Couldn't the sledders have just ridden down a different slope? You don't always have to ride the same path as everyone else. They are made to ride on snow after all. The helicopter situation didn't seem like such a big deal to me but I guess I don't know all the details. Either way, good video. Those northern lights were beautiful. That festival looks like a blast
@TruckHouseLife2 жыл бұрын
Nope, it's cliffed out on both sides/super steep, you just can't tell. It's also hard to control a snowmachine on steep downhills, you can get bucked off easy.

You make the snow machining look like so much fun. I definitely want to try it out one day.
