@@heavyhitter8972 ​​⁠ for a couple reasons… I did not know about the Ecells dual battery system, but I also live near the Chicago distribution center for wired so that was easy for me. If I had to do it all over again, I would probably get the dual battery Ecells or the dual battery wired, probably wired… Because Ecell has too many add-ons that actually bring the price much higher than all the influencers suggest.

They did this suspension because coil pushes down faster and maintains tire tractions. But air feels better. So they put the coils by the wheel and hinged the frame on air for comfort. So you dont sacrifice traction or comfort. Awesome idea.

@@hardyharr1361 in summer it's fairly dry but yes in fall and winter it's always raining. It only seems to be the performance cx mid drive motors having this problem. Some people are having motor failure every 800-1000 miles because of the rain eventually getting inside. Meanwhile my Chinese 3000w rear hub has been through hell and back submerged in water even and continues to function like new.

Aww that's so cute it's hilarious 😂 2 kiddy on non adjustable air shocks and 2 coil shocks the air shock didn't even move! That loose battery will rattle like mad and will not be waterproof! Dutch government are now impounding these Chinese imported ebikes being so dangerous this just no be careful on it man then rear shocks and forks are so bad with metal shavings in side and no seal's when was stripped and tested on a recent fox video!

I've been riding ebikes for over 10 years here in the UK and never encountered a bike that couldn't handle rain. Never had electrical issues.

Dude all ebikes are fine in the rain. Getting an official IPx rating costs a decent chunk of money so most companies don't bother sending bikes to be tested. They would be absolutely useless in most of the world if they couldn't handle rain.

checkout the velotric ebikes. one of their model, the battery itself is literally water proof and the frame and the rest are ipx6 or higher rated. It has a 70 mile range with pedal assist and all that. According to reviews, the range estimate is almost, if not, accurate WITH pedal assist.

Look up a Fucare Scorpio. It is rated at 400lbs, has good tires and full suspension including two shocks in the back that can handle your weight no problem. It also has 20 inch wheels, not the giant 26 inch fat tires. I have one and love it. It is $1100 dollars. It has a 20 ah battery too and a 750 watt motor.

I'm running 52v with 60 amps of current on a 3kw rated rear hub motor. 45mph on a flat road is the fastest I've been able to achieve but it might be able to hit over 50 going downhill just need to find a good location to test it haha. I find the legal bikes quite boring as well.

Ordered a GS ST October 12, cancelled order October 13th, received email from from their customer service on October 15th saying there email was down. TO LATE, bike shipped. Received bike Oct 19th, I emailed them again , they tell me they want 30 percent restocking fee and I pay shipping back via FedEx for $198.00 dollars. That's $588.00 to return a bike I cancelled 24 hours after ordering, customer beware. Today I received another email , 25 percent restocking. I'm 72 , live in Florida, cleaning up after 2 hurricanes! I explained all this to GS ST customer service, they don't care. BUYER BEWARE. Thks F. Painter

It looks so good other than the small tires. good frame @ suspension design a few things to fix/upgrade, but that's something a person cant do easily. but so under powered!?! that is an issue that's not easily fixed [without tossing the motor & controller] sadly too spendy as it is. shucks it looks so good.

Question? do you think they will crack down more on ebikes? Seems like they are looking to add registration and other laws to them, and some classify as motor cycles.
