Great content. How do you find the Vanford reel. Have you been using it for long. Thinking of purchasing one. Would you recommend . Also looking at the Stradic SW

@MrCiaranKehoe i have only used it for a few session so far mate, but loving it. It is very smooth with the drag. Probably not as versatile as the SW which is more solid and whick I would confidently use more of boats, or bait fiahing on heavier line for bigger fish ect. If casting lures a lot the vanford definitely a great choice in my opinion

@lewis7987 if your in perth northern beaches from ocean reef north good for me, as well as all the smaller towns up ledge, Jurien ect. For the big ones Kalbarri/ gero area is good 👍👍

Nice 👍 how do you rate the assassin rod against the shimano hardrocker? I have a veritas 9ft tournament but it’s heavier than I like for casting all day and my 11ft daiwa seabass feels a bit overkill at times but it’s lighter so I tend to use it more. Loving the vids please keep em coming 🤙

@jameslourens8820 they are both great rods mate. I would say the hardrocker is a little more finesse and better if using buckabous, lighter lures or also going to use for larger plastics for mulloway in the river. I could easily pair in with a 2500 reel if needed. As for the assasin, I can cast out larger lures a bit further and gets a bit more grunt to pull fish away or over reef. I will probs also use thw assassin rod for the salmon season also.

Cheers, was also thinking about the upcoming salmon season as I live in the south west. Love the 11ft for casting at the schools further out but keen to go lighter this year for longer sessions. Might give the assassin a try
