Did a test ride today with POD300 from Dynojet which I set to record Speed, Gear, RPM and TPS. I saved the data log to my computer (it only exports as CSV) and when I go to Telemetry Overlay to import it tells me, "Could not find compatible telemetry". Any idea what's going on? If I open this CSV in Dynojet's PEP Data Center software, I see all of the information there. EDIT: I was able to get the CSV file to load. I had to change the header to say "time (ms)" but it seems that all of the information in it is unreadable in the program. It's all organized the way it directs you to under the "custom CSV" section. I don't really know what the software is looking for as far as these parameters cause all the stuff is in there separated by commas as it should be with the proper header (unit) structure.
@TelemetryOverlay Жыл бұрын
The Dynojet device is not supported natively for now, but you should be able to adapt the CSV. You probably need to be more specific with the headers. Can you share your file by email? Reply to your confirmation email

Is it possible to use two telemetry files at the same time? For example, a *.fit with the heart rate and cadence data from the bike's gps, and the go pro's own for the accelerometer and other sensors.

After the first year, your license continues to work normally, but if you want to upload newer versions you can subscribe yearly for a fraction of the initial cost, so a smaller price

Hi Joe. Yes. You should be able to save your activity as a FIT file and import it from the Telemetry section of the software. I don't know the exact process to extract the FIT file from the Wahoo, but I know users are doing it

Is the compass heading magnetic or geographic?
@TelemetryOverlay Жыл бұрын
It depends on your data source. For most GPS sources the program computes a "Bearing" direction relative to geographic north. More comprehensive data sources like Garmin flight instruments have multiple heading options
@alexlandherr Жыл бұрын
@@TelemetryOverlayMy source is a GoPro HERO11 Black.
@TelemetryOverlay Жыл бұрын
@@alexlandherr you get bearing direction relative to north, and relative Heading (the camera does not know where north is), so you need to set an offset to use it. The accuracy of the latter hasn't been thoroughly tested.
@alexlandherr Жыл бұрын
So if I understand you correctly with my data source I would probably be getting the bearing relative to the geographic North Pole with the angle being clockwise to said geographic pole? Will the camera be capable of producing an decent bearing/heading even while standing still or is that not possible? I might seem picky about details but I want to know as much as possible.
@TelemetryOverlay Жыл бұрын
@@alexlandherr bearing requires a moving path. It's values are 0 north, 90 east, etc., Heading is there, but it's not relative to anything, you need to apply an offset so it initially points where it should, and then it's updated based on gyroscope data.
