@michaelthefurrycat20935 жыл бұрын
Why a prequel they already explained everything in the movie!!!!
@msftvsn93495 жыл бұрын
Michaelthefurrycat Yeah but it wasn’t really fleshed out. A prequel can flesh it out and expand the story of his time with Constance. And the movie can end with Nebbercracker realizing that Constance is possessing the house. Something along those lines. Like I said, it doesn’t even have to be sequel but it doesn’t have to be prequel either. A sequel can be about other monster houses or ghostly beings the kids encounter.

Criminally underrated movie. I'm glad nowadays its getting the recognition it deserves, but it's a shame around release it wasn't as well received critically, from what I hear. Visually it's stunning, and works great as a campy, but surprisingly at moments, terrifying kid-friendly horror. And the love story at its core is really heartwarming. I always loved it as a kid as I still come back every once in a while.

motion capture for stylized cartoon characters is horrible
@mateorodriguezquezada24314 жыл бұрын
The first animated film to be made using Sony's animation rendering software. The actors had to go through motion capture acting in order to animate the characters. The actors had to wear motion capture suits with little dots glued on their faces and a headpiece glued to their head with motion capture dots. After they took off their suits, the glue would cause irritation to their hair and scalp, but luckily they'd get a head massage with shampoo. The film used 3D motion capture techniques to digitally record the physical performances of the actors before "skinning" them with their animated forms. This is the first Columbia's animated theatrical film to be rated PG by the MPAA. The second film to be released in REAL D's digital 3D format.
