This has to be the best motion capture movie ever that has came out and I believe that there should be more animated films made with motion capture because it makes the performances more amazing and believable. This movie is also pretty underrated and I don't hear a lot of people talk about how good this movie is. 😊

It really is a fantastic film. Unfortunately, the fact that this film lost money at the box office most likely means we won’t be getting many films like this again, or at least for a very long time.

Monster House is definitely one of my favourite movies, in my opinion I think this movie counts as a monster madness movie and I love it. Too bad there is no sequel, but that’s okay we don’t need a sequel for this movie, Imagine there was live action Remake that will be awesome. But there’s one thing that I thought that these unused Scenes were supposed be part in the monster house sequel but I was wrong, these unused scenes were never release in the final film of monster house, which I didn’t notice that before. Sadly there’s no delete scenes, It can be only found in the concept arts, is kinda cool. P.S Happy 14th Anniversary Monster House.

There was an animator that made a prisoner version of nebbercracker for a test and a bunch of plants vs zombies test clips. I haven't been able to find his youtube for years.

So ,which of the various forms do you think is the most interesting? Is it the motion capture because of seeing how they set it up? Is it the layout stage for seeing the animation being molded into a first simple form? Or maybe it's the final cut just because of seeing what it became? Let me know your thoughts.

All of it really is interesting. It's so hard to choose!! I love the whole process & what it took to make it. It's between the motion capture & the layout stage but then AGAIN when you see the final & how they finished it off then that's also just as good. I really can't choose😂.

i prefer motion capture. you can actually see the actors at work before the animators lay over their bodies with freakish animation

I love the fact after you watched the entire movie the first sentence makes alot more sense "DO YOU WANT TO BE EATEN ALIVE?" He doens't mean metaphorically he means it literaly because his house would have eaten her alive if she stayed on the lawn to long by either using its carpet tongue to grab her or try and lure her inside.
