Thanks so much! We have bulk spools, so if you're nearby, we've got you covered. We don't have filler spools of it right now

What color is that? It looks like a teal. I only see blue white green brown & yellow on their website.

How dose the sniper feel in a medium light. I just got a 8-17 and I’ve been told it feels like a medium compared to most rods.
@tailwateroutfitters3 ай бұрын
I think it feels great, and very true to what I think a medium light should feel like. I would agree that the 8-17 isn't crazy strong for being called a med heavy, however the med light feels true to the rating

@@tailwateroutfitters is the blank pretty sensitive and are the guides good? Will the 8-17 still have feel?
@tailwateroutfitters3 ай бұрын
Yea it's super sensitive and has great quality guides. The 8-17 does still have a good feel, I just didn't need that extra power that day. I just needed to be able to throw that light bait as far as possible

@@colesheehan9929 Been using bull bay since 2017 pretty good friends with Kelly and Dustin ( owners ). Got 22 of their rods. ( I'm a bull bay big time fan ) The med light in general regardless of which model is a great rod but I personally don't recommend it during summer time months. Lighter gear has the potential to kill reds , snook and tarpon during longer battles in this hot weather / water I normally start using my med light once the water temps get down to about 82 or if Im specifically just targeting trout. Right now the 6-12 ( 10lb braid ) and 8-17 ( 15lb braid ) is what I use and recommend. The sniper 8-17 has been absolutely amazing the last 2 months throwing the zman kicker crabz. And the banshee 6-12 has been good throwing the 4" JerkshadZ on 1/8oz ProBulletZ 8lb braid and 10lb theres not much of a difference in casting especially in Cortland line ( been a brand ambassador with them for years now ) id rather have a few feet less with 10lb and make sure the fish survives after release plus that little extra strength is good to have if they charge for the boat or other structure. Plus if they are spooky 3 foot not gonna make or break the day. You'll get fish to eat just when and what part of the day is the question. Most spooky fish do settle down after awhile as well As far as how do the rods feel I personally feel the bull bay rods feel more on par for their line class their other rods do imo.
