I was surprised and glad when I learned that Shiftry gained the Wind Rider ability in place of its Leaf Guard ability. I hope that Wind Rider at some point gets distributed to the Hoppip line(replace Leaf Guard), maybe the Pidove line(replace Rivalry), maybe Tropius(replace Leaf Guard), maybe Archen & Archeops(Wind Rider as their hidden ability), debatably Gossifleur & Eldegoss(replace Effect Spore), and debatably Delibird(you could replace Insomnia or Vital Spirit). I'd suggest giving Wind Rider to Drifloon and Drifblim, but the abilities that they have already work well for them. If one of their abilities had to go, though, I'd replace Aftermath. Tornadus could only make sense to have Wind Rider as its hidden ability in each form if Tornadus Incarnate had Defiant turned into a second regular ability. This would mean that Tornadus Incarnate would have Prankster and Defiant as its regular abilities with Wind Rider as its hidden ability. Meanwhile, Tornadus Therian would have Regenerator as it regular ability and Wind Rider as its hidden ability. For the Wind Power ability, I could see Rotom-Fan benefiting from having that instead of Levitate. The only others I could think of are Kantonian Zapdos and more so Emolga. It would help if Wind Power at least reduced the amount of damage taken from wind-based attacks in addition to boosting the next Electric-type attack used.
