I wonder. how a well researched lecture of this caliber is free. It identifies that Dr Taimur Rahman truly loves the common peoples of this society. He conclude his lecture by saying that 'theoretical struggle is the most important struggle (toward a communist state)'. For this struggle we have to read Marx in the background of Pakistan. Thank you Sir for such a historical lecture.

Dr.Taimur excellent point. We are looking for causes of collapse of Soviet Union in 1989 in the events of 1930s!! We barely analyse bogeys of Perestroika, Glastnot --the events that emerged out of nowhere just prior to the 1989 Collapse of USSR. Except Russia, barely any of the other 14 Republics shed parasitism. They chose to have RUTHLESS OVERDEPENDENCE on Russia for over 70 years. These 14 Republics themselves were burden on USSR and invited ruthlessness to quell their mediocrity and prolonged stagnancy. Russia was overstretched. Recall Stalin's birthplace Georgia on the eve of 1989 Collapse of USSR. Highly reactionary! They (Estonia, Lithuania, Georgia) as parasites took out HAMMER from the symbol of Soviet flag in 1980s to ape America's bogey of liberalism and individualism. The result?

Where can I get your book? I'm very interested in the "salary system" during the Stalin period. The Trotsky bit was quite interesting. About his Euro centrism, Trotsky critism about Stalin was also about the nature of his "brutal Asiatic" rule. I remember reading some long essay about Stalin by Trotsky and he made a big thing it. Was a while back now, I should revisit it. Even Stalin himself referred to himself as Asiatic. His daughter called him Asian in this old UK interview I was just watching. Must of been some significance attached to this, asians been seen to be authoritarian by nature. Unenlightened and undemocratic unlike Europeans. kzbin.info/www/bejne/iovaZKaEab2YhNE Oh there is a book called Oriental Despotism a comparative study of total power written in 1957. Not read it but the title tells me that feeds into the stereotype too. There's actually an interesting blog called The Oriental Despot by Jay Tharappel where he has an article called Anti-Stalinism is left wing racism .

@digitalfactory65023 жыл бұрын
sosialism defeated by its own people , who rejected this idea and , capitalism won ,but its also failing to solve human problem, now Islamic economy model is left , because its the only solution that could bring justice .
@salvadorvizcarra7693 жыл бұрын
@@digitalfactory6502 You are confused. There is no such thing as an "Islamic" Economic Model. Islam is RELIGION, and not Economy. Now, I will explain to you what Communism is and its result: SOCIALISM. Maybe you confuse the word Communism with Dictatorship. U R wrong in the concepts. Communism is an Economic Model to Manage the wealth of a nation. Communism Does Not Rule cuz it is NOT a Political System. The Dictatorship Yes! Governs a country, and it can be a Right-wing Dictatorship, an Ultra-Right or Fascist Dictatorship. Or It can be a Dictatorship of the Left, be it Socialist or Communist. You have heard of Communism, but you DO NOT know what Communism is. U don't know the good Communism has done to the US people. To understand it, U should see with careful eyes what Capitalism is. Without the appearance of Communism, you would be living within an entirely Capitalist Gov’t System (I said System, and not Model), and you would not have benefits for work, SRSW (Special Rights of the Specialized Worker); a fair salary, rewards and compensation, health coverage and accidents; Social Security, retirement, paid vacations, 8-hour days, 2-days off. Nursery and maternity... you would have nothing. NO Right to protest and demonstrate, and even less, the Right to Strike. The US has all that and it is thanks to the theories of Communism. Look: Communism is an Economic Model, and NOT precisely a Gov’t System. [* Gov't System, or Political System are: Monarchy; Dictatorship; Theocracy, Democracy and Republic. The Economic Models are: Capitalism, Communism, Socialism (which can also be a Political System), Free Market (which leads to Imperialism or Liberalism), Mixed Economy, and, Centralized Economy. The Gov’t System, GOVERNMENT. The Economic Model, ADMINISTER or MANAGES.] Well then, Communism is an Economic Model that up to now has NOT been applied anywhere on the planet. Why? Cuz Communism is INAPPLICABLE. Communism is a Utopia impossible to impose. It is a wonderful dream. Fantastic Dream! It is a great theory; extraordinary but, in reality IT DOES NOT WORK. For you to understand, there is a comparison. Communism is like Christianity. As you should know, Christianity is based on charity, kindness, tolerance, and self-denial. In good thoughts and best deeds but, it is IMPOSSIBLE to achieve that. Nobody is a good Christian. We are envious, violent, cheating, or self-righteous. Nobody turns the other cheek; no one keeps the Ten Commandments. The idea is good, but it is inapplicable. Well, the same thing happens with Communism. Only two countries have declared themselves communist: The USSR and China. (Now, at this moment, and since the events of Tiananmen Square (1989), China is an Free Market Open Economy. Cuba and Korea are Socialists too). But since the theory of the Communist Economic Model is an Unapplicable Utopia, today neither China nor Russia are communists today. They are one-party parliamentary dictatorships. The same is happening in Cuba. And what was left of Communism? SOCIALISM. Today, Norwegian, Sweden, Finland, Poland, Germany, Austria, France, Luxenburg, Portugal, Spain, Italy, Greece and 33 of the 35 countries of the American Continent are Socialists. The US Democratic Party is Socialist. Even Socialism, due to its scope and application, can be considered a Political System. Socialism, being a Model, can work with the Monarchy, the Dictatorship, or with Democracy. Works well with all Systems, as long as CORRUPTION is eradicated. And now, History: In the year 1524-25, there was in Germany, the Peasant War ("Erhebung des gemeinen Mannes"), this war was falsely associated with the religious revolts of Martin Luther, but in reality, it was a peasant uprising against the nobility headed by the Emp. Karl V, who slavishly exploited his people, supported by the Church of Rome. As you can read on Wikipedia, it ended in a massacre, because the monarchy, ALL MONARCHIES, ended their social problems with a massacre. In this case, there were almost 100,000 deaths in six months. However, the atrocity left something worth rescuing: All the European kingdoms saw that it was convenient to give the peasants better treatment, or they would rise to cut off their heads (French Revolution). It also established that the Common Man could organize himself socially, economically and politically, without the intervention of the feudal lord, if they worked in COMMON, thinking of the community, for the benefit not of a landowner, but for the Commonwealth. And it worked...! Nine years before the massacre, Saint Thomas More wrote a seminal work for modern sociology: Utopia (1516; an ideal society). In light of the events that occurred in Germany, and later in Tuscany, French Provence and Spanish Flanders, this work was accused of attacking "God and the King" and was prohibited by Pope Clement VII. In those times, King and Church ruled the world. In 1535 he was tried by order of King Henry VIII, accused of high treason for not rejecting the Church of Rome, in the face of the emergence of the Anglican Church, nor accepting the "Act of Supremacy", which declared the kings as head of this new Church. More lost his; they beheaded him. Time passed; the French Revolution broke out under the motto: Freedom; Equality and Fraternity (Liberté, Égalité, Fraternité) the same words that appear written in Sir Thomas More's "Utopia". Three centuries passed, and new thinkers emerged who addressed social issues. Feudalism was disappearing and its place was taken by Capital. However, the wealthy could not have the prestige of the monarchy or the Church, so they made a pact with them and bought their titles. After hundreds of wars and millions of deaths, the new "Sir, Lord, Baronet, Counts and Marques" arrived... paid titles, of course. Well, the world realized that anyone, ANYONE, could become a Noble, if they had the money to pay. Even Pirates or Mercenaries, orThe Beatles, for example. The problem here was that after the Napoleonic Wars there were too many rich "commoners"… (The archetype of all of them was Cecil Rhodes), who started world colonialism, but noticed that money alone DID NOT PRODUCE WEALTH. Work is what produces wealth. The work is done by Man. So, OTHERS had to be forced to work for the rich, either out of slavery, for wages, or starvation. During the 19th and part of the 20th century, the underprivileged worked 10 and 12 hours a day, Saturdays and Sundays, no vacations, no benefits, no health insurance, no education, no nothing. If perhaps a machine ripped off a worker's arm, that was a worker's problem and not the employer's. They worked as poor children, and they grew old just as poor. The benefits that we have today arose from the Chicago Martyrs Massacre, May 1, and those ideals were put on the table by Communism. Without him, we would continue as in the 19th century. Without Communism, Capitalism would not have any restraint, as in fact it currently does not. Communism showed a better way; more humane, supportive and fair.

@@salvadorvizcarra769 brother capitalism is not a natural model it needs IMF WTO etc. To force the model on other countries. On the other hand communism is achieved through socialism.communism is an end and the socialism is the means to an end.100 years ago the condition of the workers were bad ,now we can see some improvements. The main point has been missed. The international great debate between the Chinese and Soviet communist parties. The main defect in the policy of Soviet government after Stalin's death was that it took socialism as something negotiable. Khrushchev declared that since socialism had been built in two large countries, there was no need for revolution in other countries anymore. They would gain socialism with the help of those two countries. Thus, he denied the necessity of the class struggle in those countries. As a result, Nehru and Indira became the leaders of the working people in their eyes. Actually, it was an imperialist policy in the garb of socialism. Mao Tsetung stood against it and finally the Chinese communist party stated that the Soviet leaders were the "new Tsars of Russia". We in our childhood had a taste of such imperialist policies of USSR. The Soviet engineers in Bokaro steel plant had a huge difference in wages in comparison to their Indian counterparts. They had their own colony into which Indians had no entry. The steel produced in the plant was taken away to USSR at a throwaway price. The Indian government nationalised many sectors and their profits were sent to USSR in lieu of petroleum. USSR spread similar business in many countries of the third world. This created a class within a class and the Bourgeoisie began to rise again within USSR. Gorbachev's moves were the culmination of these events. Courtesy- Dr. Nabarun Ghoshal
