I’m an old man now. During my life I have known people who need to have wild pets One guy got a baby fox, one a bear, one snakes. These individuals shared something other than the exotic pets. They were weird individuals anyway, and all of them didn’t take care of the animals properly They wanted to be unique without concern for a proper environment for the animal Owning a wild animal like a big cat is something a person wants to be seen having, not concerned about the animal need for a healthy stimulating place to live. The shelters are filled with discarded animals who grew too big or needed a yard. It should be illegal in every state to keep these for the sake of the aminals

I kept a Burmese python for a few weeks. She was given to me after her owner could no longer care for her. She went to a sanctuary. If I can't "Pet" my pet I won't keep them.❤

I realised years ago that my little kitten, if sufficiently enraged, could kill a human. I then went onto the internet to find that there were a great many little old ladies living in fear of what their cats might do to them one night while they slept! It is pure stupidity and ego for people to fantasise that they have a bond that no-one else had been able to get with any animal.

I believe in order to own one of these dangerous animals, you should be a qualified ,registered zookeeper, and able to demonstrate to local authorities your experience and knowledge of all aspects of care for the species, including habitat, husbandry, and diet requirements. Otherwise no deal.

Another time it bit me,my fault. My dad took it off me and it sounded like velcro. It left a fang in my arm. Under the microscope it had bugs crawling on the fang.luckily they aren't poisonous.

We have roe deer around us, our dog went into the field to do his business! And came running out turned and play bowed. A deer ran out after him but didn't want to play, it ran passed the dog about turned and ran back passed him.we have a great hunting dog😂😂😂

These are not Pets! NO matter what one wants to call them.. These are made to be on side of the scale ⚖️ and we human beings on the other side 😀. When mating time comes for these so called Pets and they hormones start raging! Who can match their needs and strength!. These Pets can't talk, but they have feelings for companionship! A mate / partner and are very sensitive to their needs... Feeling sorry hearing about these things, but still not feeling sorry for these people. What they don't understand is the amount of stress they put these Pets through and seems not to understand that, is beyond my wildest thinking... LAST: watch when these animals are in the wild and see the aggressive behavior against each other and we mere human can't match that strength...

Thanks to the stupidity and lack of compassion for some of these wild animals kept as pets they were euthanized. Leave them alone in the wild where they belong. I can understand helping some animals that need it from a professional vet or something but if they can be returned back to the wild then do so. In cases where a wild animal cannot be returned to its natural home then they will remain in a sanctuary with skilled workers where they can live out their remaining time being safe and protected. Don't mess with animals if you don't know what you're doing.
