I've been trying to get the tainted lost completion marks done and it is certainly...an experience. Getting runs to the chest/dark room and then dying to a homing laser across the screen is always fun. Also, nice job on getting greedier with tainted jacob done, I was only able to get it done because I had a glitch with missingno. that for some reason made dark esau not spawn on any of the floors so all of the stress of tainted jacob was gone.

I recently got it but I'm on console so I was basically just playing tainted lost I had god head and compound fracture so esau died every floor

Thats actually not a glitch... But somewhat intended interaction? All effects that reroll your items make esau dont spawn in because in game code he is a item.

@@Dunkacciino yeah pretty much. If I am not wrong using d4 also deletes dark esau from your 'items' but its worse cuz you have to use it every single floor

The other way to get rid of esau is surprisingly eraser. Which also makes sense too but you have to kill with eraser.

I had a dumb idea for an item, Pnemonoultramicroscopicsilicovolcanoconiosis Instead of tears you shoot the first letter of status effects. You would shoot a p and the enemy would get a poison effect, same with fire, ice, etc. Basically playdough cookie but with a damage up too

You're not actually inmune to bombs with berserk, you're only inmune to post death explosions, so boom flies, dark cyan champions, etc, but troll bombs, gurgles and anything that has a different way of hurting you with explosions will still hurt you

Dark esau ignores boss armor and deals alot of damage, it's a gamble you can or kill bosses alot easier or die becouse of it

boss armor is a hidden mechanic of certain boss fights like Hush and Delirium, where the damage a boss takes will scale down it can make brimstone feel like soy milk at times

@@danilotaza yes i believe it depends on how often you damage them, so occasionally you want to stop shooting the boss entirely if you want to reset the damage resistance the bosses tend to become invincible at times anyway, like when hush falls into the floor
