I've recently become obsessed with supporting the (few) Taiwanese brands I can find, which so far has mostly just consisted of drinking Taiwan Beer and Kavalan whisky lol. BUT since you are a fashionable person, do you know any TW local clothing/fashion brands? I'm not a streetwear guy, I like tailoring and fancy basics, but I'd love to hear about any brands founded/owned by Taiwanese and made in Taiwan. Especially shoes, leather goods, denim, and outerwear. Also don't think we didn't notice the sick Chanel wallet 😏

i did most of my shopping near zhongshan/zhongxiao dunhua/wufenpu/fujin st. to be honest, i didn't pay a ton of attention to brand names, but you'll definitely come across some stores that carry what you're looking for. i would recommend porter international for bags/accessories though! you can find them in most department stores like eslite, sogo, shin kong mitsukoshi (which by the way, all have really good, curated selections unlike in america)
