Why did your sub count stop growing?
@manicmaniacco7 жыл бұрын
Because he lost sight of what made his channel successful to begin with.
@krzysztofbandyk1687 жыл бұрын
That happens when you change your demographics its gonna grow once he settles in this new format.
@manicmaniacco7 жыл бұрын
I disagree. Nobody is going to really latch on to a guy pretending to be a game-development-expert-turned-morning-show-host that has never actually completed and released a game. Hell he never completed a project on his channel to my knowledge, although granted I've only been watching him for a few months. His channel was successful because he demonstrated what he was doing and provided useful information in an appealing way to his viewers. He no longer does that and his subscriber base will drop gradually over time because he simply does not provide anything other than opinionated commentary anymore. And eventually people will realize that the opinion on game development of a guy who has never completed and released a game isn't anything to take seriously. It is sad because he has talent, unfortunately he has turned himself into a video meme.

You are the kind of ppl im talking about. they dont like the new content for whatever reason so they unsubscribe and i dont see anything wrong with that . Subbing is here to know when the content you like is uploded so... i disagree but understand... i think.

Step 1: get blender Step 2: learn blender Step 3: don't be lazy and just use blender to do it all yourself
@billy76857 жыл бұрын
Crusty Plunger I challenge you to do that the amount of work that goes into modeling assets especially if you want variety to trees etc... The process would take up so much time and you probably will just find models or assets that end up looking better than your result free.
@crustyplunger87387 жыл бұрын
Unfortunately, not everything can be found online already made for free. Blender is free, and you can make literally anything with it. There are tutorials on how to do pretty much anything.
@billy76857 жыл бұрын
Crusty Plunger you stated do it all yourself go ahead make every asset needed that isn't low poly for a level design you are talking like you've never used blender or an alternative to model it isn't like you can make stuff with the snap of your fingers it takes time and depending on what it is it can take a lot of time
@crustyplunger87387 жыл бұрын
I use blender constantly, and no its not like you can pump out models effortlessly, but you will be able to create exactly what you want, something you don't usually get from just downloading random crap of the internet. Do you think big budget devs just download other peoples work? ;)
@billy76857 жыл бұрын
Crusty Plunger then you don't understand the amount of models required to design a level you need a large variety of trees, rocks and any kind of models you want such as buildings otherwise it will look like a copy and paste asset flip used to farm steam cards and do you not realize the difference between a small team of developers or a solo developer and a huge team of developers making all the models with usually a time period of 1 - 2 years I think that is a pretty obvious difference
@stonedude12347 жыл бұрын
Wait, this isn't how you're suppose to use Unity?...
@spinnis7 жыл бұрын
Usually you create your own 3d models, and your own scripts. He just bought assets someone else had made.

Can unity make a game like Kingdom Hearts 3?
@krzysztofbandyk1687 жыл бұрын
Sure Unity can make any kind of game you like. All you need is to know C# and making assets be that models animation sounds ect. and for that big a project having a team will help.
@imkrakenup73667 жыл бұрын
Thanks, that's good to know
