I think the reason why your apartment has two doors is because it's actually one apartment that has been subdivided into four smaller Apartments
@PatMaxAdventures5 жыл бұрын
That could be or it was made for four small units.

I like it, but I'd want a kitchen. I like how it's convenient. I like the passkey system into it. I like that it has a laundry room. I like the colors. It's too narrow with too little closet space, but for a traveler.... I did like the video, Mr. Patrick.

The apartment is cute but that not having a sink in the kitchen area I'm not too sure about. I have seen some with a sink but no cooking element. Question, I noticed that Palfish changed how they pay their teachers. How is that working out? Also, what requirements do you have to have on your phone, tablet, whatever to work with them. When I tried to sign up a few months I was told my phone wasn't suitable and to get an iPhone or iPad.
@PatMaxAdventures5 жыл бұрын
I've gotten in the routine of just washing my dishes in the bathroom. It really isn't that big of an issue. Palfish is going well. They pay their teachers through payoneer, which is like PayPal. I use an Android and have not had any problems. Though I heard the app was made for iPhones.

I really think your apartment is really cool. But even with the security guard, I don't think you should give too much information where you live. I don't know if you heard of another U-tuber name BenDeen. He had a crazy stalker who assaulted him in his own place. The stalker figured out where he lived based on the surroundings Ben was showing outside of his place. Other than that, I really like your place. : )

Thank you for your comment and concern. I made sure not to show too much in the video. It would be difficult for someone to find me here. I will keep that in mind though as I share my Airbnb's in the future.

If we really think about it, why would we need to have two sinks in a small apartment. A bathroom sink and a kitchen sink have barely any difference.
@PatMaxAdventures5 жыл бұрын
You're absolutely right. I never thought about that way until I moved here.
@kojiho6045 жыл бұрын
I think because you have not signed long-term that the price is quite reasonable, the landlord has to deal with short term rentals like yours and has to charge a bit more during the times when there isn't anyone renting.
@PatMaxAdventures5 жыл бұрын
My contract was for one year. It was not short term. In the video I said that I am leaving in three months, not that my lease was three months.
@kojiho6045 жыл бұрын
@@PatMaxAdventures i actually think you got a good deal at $300. Your place looks roomy and new. The only thing i think your friends may think that it's expensive is that it may be because it's not in Taipei perhaps? In Neihu, where my mother in law lives, when we visit, the landlord rents out rooms half the size you got and without the cooking area you have, and many many years older than the place you have.
@PatMaxAdventures5 жыл бұрын
I totally agree with you. I think the price is pretty good too. The location is perfect as well.

HEY PAT, THANKS FOR THE TOUR OF YOUR APARTMENT. I ACTUALLY THINK YOU COULD GET AWAY WITH LESS ROOM. IT LOOKS AS IF YOU HAVE DOWNSIZED YOURSELF ALREADY AND THE LESS ROOM YOU HAVE THE LESS LIKELY YOU ARE TO BUY MORE STUFF. I DON'T THINK YOU ARE PAYING TOO MUCH EITHER. YOU ARE IN A DOWNTOWN LOCATION SO YOU DO HAVE TO PAY FOR THAT. I LOOK FORWARD TO SEEING YOUR ADVENTURES IN THE FUTURE. LOOKING FORWARD TO MEETING YOU WHEN I COME THROUGH TAIWAN ON MY WAY TO CHINA.

Not that bad! What does internet and a mobile contract cost on a monthly basis? Why is there a door before your actual apartment door, is this some other landlord which is using this building?
@PatMaxAdventures5 жыл бұрын
I don't pay for internet. it's included in the apartment! My phone bill is 500NT (16 USD) a month unlimited internet! ^^The first door is there for extra security. There are four apartments in the hall way.
