There are already many Taiwanese working on AI in the U$. From the recent U$ AI market report, 60% of the top 2% of AI talents in U$ are Chinese. --> Good in math.

TSMC, Taiwan most promising chip conductor companies was actually controlled by the American as their board of directors are mostly American. That is why TSMC can succeed because of the huge capital pumped in by US and it is just an outsourced company which serves American semiconductor industry in terms of manufacturing . Other than that, Taiwan other AI companies are so - so and does not constitute any challenge to the major powers. Taiwan is just a client state of US and there are only 2 leading powers in AI , which is US and China . US top graduate or talent usually choose to go into the financial or services sector and most of AI graduate in the United States are of East Asia origin. To make matter worse, US is now keeping an eye on Chinese living in America in sensitive research industries, like AI . Its own American born Chinese were not let off either. As a result of this deep suspicion, it affected the progress of US AI development. A lot of American top researchers in such field leave America for greener pastures and China is one of the most popular destinations. China AI tech has now even surpassed US in many sectors. So coming back to Taiwan, there is no hope for Taiwan in terms of AI because US itself is slackening which means there is no support for Taiwan AI development which serve US interests.

😅Not TW microchip anymore, they call that company ASMC now. 台积电 → 美积电 Recently, TSMC promises to transfer U.S. 2nm wafer technology.

Just Not long ago the gov told the people the tech are protected by constitution, don't allow to transfer latest tech to foreign.

Taiwan's role is clear all this while. Make chips for American AI companies. Don't overstep your role. See what they did to Huawei. And you are no Huawei.

This is Singapore gov doc, 2024-11-17 MFA release. Prime Minister Wong : Singapore has a clear and consistent “One China” policy and is opposed to Taiwan independence.

AI is just a control tool for machines. If IT is 3% global economy, Manufacturing is 20%, how AI can penetrate chartered services, retail, wellness is pretty limited. So can 3% IT has limited effect. 😂❤
