Ku are you sure you’re French and not British mate? Loving the English in this video! Great topic, well shot and super well produced! Nice one! Thumbs up for 700k too! 👍🏼

Speaking of Dutch influence in Taiwan: Do you know the «Poffertjes Café» in Taipei? In fact it's two cafés by now as they are pretty popular and people tend to queue to brunch there. The original café is in one of the side alleys behind Taipei's main station bus terminal (behind meaning not on the side of ShinKong Mitsukoshi and Beimen gate), and the newer branch is just a 300m walk further on in the same area. Poffertjes Café serves combinations of müesli, baked potatoes, assorted fresh fruit and yes: poffertjes. Those are typically Dutch, tiny and fluffy pancakes that are served with some melting butter and powdered sugar. The HSR is indeed a brilliant way to zip down South and back up North along the West coast - I've used it many times already. Sadly, getting to the East coast (the real gem of Taiwan) is a lot more time consuming when relying on public transport - but still doable and a spectacular train ride from Kaohsiung TRA to Taitung. Speaking of laid back, Taitung and Hualien are a different world when compared to the West coast's cities - perfect for recharging your batteries after a hard week of work. I usually come to Taiwan for two weeks, one week of work and one of holidays. Since my parents are from the Dutch province of Zeeland (Fort Zeelandia, anyone?), I'm well aware of the connection between the Netherlands and Taiwan in the 17th century. It may also be a reason why I like Tainan so much.
Thanks for this youtube film. I invited my husband to watch with me who is Dutch too. We were in Tainan for our honey moon in 1991 ,we both enjoy it very much. I had a good laugh when I saw the expressions of you when you were eating fish's intestines ~ lol
Really like it! I’m studying my master in the Netherlands, and my Dutch classmates were all surprised when they heard about the relationship between TW and NL! Thanks for filming the video to get more Dutch people know it🥰
True, I stay in The Netherlands from last year until now. And there are no infected cases in The Netherlands on February. Btw, welcome to Tainan and enjoy, it's my hometown as well.😁😁
