Indian people are so happy and lovely. And kudos to Emma who is famous at the Taj Mahal! I went to the Taj Mahal when I was 18 years old. Hoping to go back there one day with my wife! I remember buying sealed bread which had cockroaches inside and being taken down the side streets to be sold amazing huge handmade carpets (I didn’t buy one because I was a backpacker!) I then went onto Jaipur Jodhpur and Jaisalmer where I did a camel trek into the desert.

Sounds like I did a similar to trip to you back in 2007. I also went to those places and did a camel trip in the desert. India certainly is a place like no other eh!

@@WestGoesEast Back then I got dysentery in Jodhpur, woke up in the early hours and nearly puked all over a dormitory of 20 people sleeping. But the Indian doctor sorted me the next day and I continued. It was a trip of a lifetime and got no regrets! I haven’t been travelling nearly as much as you, but I think India was the most incredible place in the world. I ended up in cattle class travelling back on the train back to Bombay (as it was known then). Had a near miss while watching someone famous going into a temple…happened to be the 2nd most famous religious leader in India. But the chauffeur reversed the limo onto my legs, and I shouted at him. He was about to get out the car and deal with me, and the huge crowd could have turned on me, but a nice English-speaking student saw what happened and rescued me. Never forgot it. The people of India are always in my heart.
