Oldest Tajik city's currently in Uzbekistan, Samarqand and Bukhara. Unfortunately Soviet union gave them. But citizens still speak tajik language. Enjoy your travel ❤❤

It was never a tadjik city in the past. People in samarkand and bukhara go to uzbek school and speak uzbek. there was no name called tadjik , but the uzbek name still existed for a long time in the past.

And 20 million people in other countries like turkey, Turkmenistan, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, eastern China. I think Uzbek must be the head language in Central Asia like English in America. I respect my farsi brother. But you know we have got lots of people who don't know farsi but you farsi guys have people understand Uzbek. So it's a friendly suggestion.
