I've seen a lot of finger tapping techniques but how he just played was one of the coolest things i've ever seen, does anybody know any youtube channels that teach the style he just did????

I run the output of my Palathetic PU signal through a Fishman Aura Spectrum DI. Not the cheapest device but it sounds AMAZING when I dial in a suitable image signal at 2 o'clock.

WOW!!! I'm 51yrs old, been playing/singing/performing many years, and this is the most unique playing I have ever witnessed!!!! I ALREADY KNOW about Takamines' superior plugged in sound because I own 3 of them. The REAL ones, NOT the G-series. My nicest one is a LTD '98. It also came with gold plated height adjustable tuners. I love it just as much as my Taylor. Not quite the acoustic projection due to the smaller body, but I like the Taks' pick up system better. Really does sound more natural.

@Craven Greene No, it was a very real.......top tier Taylor..........I say "was" because I sold it about 6 yrs ago to buy my youngest son a half way decent keyboard. ( I posted my previous comment 8 yrs ago by the way, when I still had it. ) I bought that Taylor brand new back in 2005. I think I paid about 3 grand for it. It was a signature series named after a popular guitarist, who co-designed it, with a fairly wide, thin neck, it played really nice. Dog gone if I can't recall his name. Of course it had a model number as well, but I can't recall that either. My son is a chip off the old block, everyone said "he was a prodigy". VERY good on piano & keyboard. But only 3 yrs after I sold my Taylor to help him with a new keyboard ( his grandfather on my ex-wife's side had already bought him a baby grand piano ), he basically quit pursuing music. Now I wish I had never sold my Taylor. Oh well, easy come, easy go ......I guess.

Best Electronics on any acoustic guitar. Anyone saying anything else has never plugged one of these in to a pro PA. I have three Taylors...they all sit in my humidification chamber.

I wish the EF341 full dreadnought was still available. I am not a big fan of cutaways on acoustics. I already have the 349 mahogany full dreadnought.

The tuner is still on Jake,do you leave it on for better sound or what. I just bought a Takamine ETN 10 beautiful sound. Any advice for setting the pickup slides I keep the treble and bass up half way and the mid slightly lower in a sort of smile figure, none of the slides go beyond half way. I'm using a Unico amp which is cool. Cheers mate! love your playing.

a 20 dollar transducer sounds more acoustic than that system. BUT it is truly a great guitar. Wish I could hear that playing unplugged

One begins to question if their eyes are playing tricks on them or if he's really playing a guitar. More like he's playing a drum but very unique way to play nonetheless.
