Man, this set is rough. Takara's figures have felt rather amateurish lately, despite the premium they're charging. It's really quite a shame. Plus, people have been having breakages on the clear plastic parts, which doesn't fill me with confidence. Zeta may not have the nice trains, but the sacrifices for these trains is far too great, I think. Better just to buy train models if that's what you want from these.

You'd think an extruded cube / rectangular shaped brick would be the perfect alt mode for a transformer; affording intuitive conversion, nice proportions, solid build, and knock em out the box articulation. whut happpen? did its balls drop off?

I was so excited for this set, I love the real world accurate train modes. Its a shame they are more like a bad CHUG then a good MP. Hopefully they have learned a lot from this whole mistake of a set. If or When MPG does an Astrotrain I hope they make it one of thier best figures in all of MP, amd or being able to run on a a track would be awsome also. You could easily get a motor into an astrotrain body type that can connect to a set of wheels, Not all the wheels have to be powered for it to move

Would've been better if Takara made the other G1 combiners instead of this mess. Menasor, Devi, Bruticus, Defensor or Superion. But who's not to say that even those would be a mess?! LOL

The flight adapter are coming with the final train if you order the special box they can fit all the trains in it for display.

This is chug scale I don’t care what takara says. These train bots seems like they were designed in 2015 and just now got released. Compared to 3rd party these are horrible and old feeling

Each MP release lately has gotten worse and more like the hollow mainline figures. It's really hard to purchase Tak/Has considereing the lack of thought/care put into the engineering.

This is MPGA not MP. MP is still doing a pretty good job so is the MPM line tbh.

These have genius conversions, as do most MPs. Far far far above Chug. You get morons who can't handle a toy delicately and break it, or don't understand the merits of the train modes.

@@mikathomo391 ok, so whichever line of MP it is it still is not good for a premium transforming figure. Most of the recent MP releases have huge compromises to make them look good from the front or it's misproportioned or the bot mode suffers for an accurate alt mode.

@@maskai3408 Doesn't take much to be better than chug, esecially the most recent releases. As far as a good alt mode representation just get a model train and paint them, honestly. Read my other reply to mika and you'll see where I stand on the "premium" MP"s various lines.

It ways years ago when Takara Transformers were really cool, on this days they are just a fairly story. 3P crashed it with all alternatives that give to us.
