@tydiriumhanger1320 Megatron will be a headache. As a kid i thought it was transformed wrong since it didn't look like what i saw on cartoon 😅

I haven't taken mine out of the box, but looking at it through the clear window, I think the colour match between diecast and plastic is pretty good. Yours looks more obvious, but lighting can really affect how colours appear. Like LED/Incandescent/Sunlight/Flourescent all make colours look different-changing how close the matching might seem. Ideally though should have just painted the whole thing.

Yellows and Oranges are the hardest to make paint match plastic

I love the Missing Link stuff, I have a few already, but I passed this one up. Its such a waste of money to me... A slight paint change, thats it. Now had he been Nemesis Prime in black or Shattered Glass Prime in purple then yeah Im on board. Otherwise I will save my limited resources for something else -like ML Sunstreaker. Now if I can just find a solid release date for pre-order! 😭 😆

The G1 Optimus Prime recolours like this Sentinel Prime are probably for those completionists. It's like the recolours of MP-10 again.

I'm a sucker for unconventional, "Generation 2" style color-schemes. And for some reason I'm fascinated with slapping Yellow onto figures that aren't normally associated with it. I loved the G2 Tigerstripe studio 86' grimlock, I loved Gen selects Tigertrack, and I love this guy too. edit---- yes I think he looks mostly yellow overall. Love it.

I'm not familiar with all the lore of transformers. Can someone tell me why this Optimus is yellow?

I heard it is because it is based on the truck scanned but it is actually Sentinal prime which is a different character
