Wait until you learn that Emil Ramsauer is still alive. At age 103. This dude was like 20 when WW2 ended and he whitnessed the Afghanistan withdrawal.

Thank you.I'm from switzerland,and I feel very flattered that there are so many people on the internet who like the song.Its sad,indeed.The Heilsarmee(Or Takasa how they call themselfs now)are a very lovely group of people,& I feel sorry they didnt even came to the final.Anyways,this song stays with us & is a gift,even tough they didnt won.Its amazing that they went this far,tough,and they came home,without a trophy,but with a priceless experience.There were so many lovely songs who didnt won =(

They should have been in the 2013 finals, but their Salvation Army connection went against them, which I think is unfair, as in this video, and their on-stage performance, they showed no sign of their religious beliefs. I'm still annoyed at what happened, and I still love this track over 6 years later.
