I think nagayama is better than takato but not in kouchi gari

Any idea how he does his? I was told it was timing based but see some he gets it even when their foot is planted

He got his kuzushi a variety if ways. Still very timing based, sometimes he started his attack while the weight was on the foot but as he connected they were shifting their weight or he was using his hands to shift their weight off that foot a bit. Just enough of a shift that he could pull the foot. It all happened so incredibly fast too.
