It's a gorgeous tank, your angels look like they're going to breed with the pecking of areas they're doing & your pleco was chilling. As your new filter arrived yet. I forgot to ask can you tell the difference in sex on your Cory's?

Well thank you. A female blue zebra has paired off a while back when I added the 2. Originally I just had the tricolor. The LFS just sold them as "fancy", but someone on reddit said they were blue zebras and others agreed, so I've gone with that. Lol. The new filter came in 2 days and I put the old biomedia back in the new filter. I forgot to install the surface skimmer dial, and I tried to do it afterwards but I couldn't get it on. It's ok because it seems to be on the lowest setting. You can't turn it completely off. It's kinda not really needed imo, but I still love the filters. Your BIG question....I have NEVER learned sexual dimorphism in any of my corys. Many different species. I've come to love corys so much, but have never tried to breed, although I do have that video recently of the orange Venezuelans laying eggs on the anubias. I know I'm horrible, right? I would actually like to get some fry out of my pygmy corys on my 15g, so that's why I've kind of set up that tank the way I have with the botanicals, cholla wood for biolfolim and hiding for fry, and I've stuck a free anubias petite in one ened of the cholla wood and the other end in the gravel. I wanna see if it works. Anyway that's the 15g. The angelfish have always laid eggs on that uv sterilizer, and good eye catching that cleaning. It will be any day now. Maybe tonight since I fed preserved baby brine shrimp for the evening meal, then repashy gel for the bottom feeders. I've never had eggs last for more than about 2.5 days. Never even wigglers. I'm happy though because I've got no place to put any of those fish if they had fry, but I know people who will take all the pygmy cory fry I'll give them. Hey thanks so much for watching. I promise a video will be out any day now with eggs on that sterilizer.

@@FishRfun Your on the ball with what your doing & regarding sexing Cory's the females head is fatter & body & the males head is slimmer & the bodies long. Do a video if your angels lay egg's, if mine do & eggs survive I've had strict orders to leave well alone, otherwise I had a spare new U4 & it's the only swapping media from my tank to that in a tub & using my tank water & transferring eggs if mine lay any but my hubby said no, it makes me wonder 🤔 who owns the tank 🤣 You do love your pygmy's & have the tank set nicely for them & hopefully the filter works to how you need it. Oh it's a pleasure watching your tank 😊

Coming from you that means a lot...honestly. I feel so inadequate in this hobby. I've gotta do a video saying thank you to 169 subscribers in like what 3 months? I just started making videos for fun and relaxation. Then started looking at other people's tanks and subscribed to their channels, etc...and somehow I look up and there's all these subscribers. I'm a property and casualty insurance agent of 23 years, and I just happened to have some free time on my hands. My dr told me 2 years ago when he diagnosed me to get an indoor hobby and a good cane. Anyway, I had always wanted to keep fish, so I bought the fluval flex, after doing quite a bit of research. There are things that could be better, but I do like it. Gosh I'm rambling so yeah I'm gonna have to do a big thank you video, because I never ask people to like or subscribe. I'm no pro channel they should go to for advice...lol. It's extremely flattering so many people are liking my videos enough to have this many subscribers and it's growing all the time. However, after the end of this month, I'm not going to have as much free time, so the number of videos i put out will drop, but I'll still make them for sure. My Dr even said it's great for anxiety...aquariums I mean. Whew!! Thanks again, and have a great evening

@@FishRfun Thank you but I'm just being honest & like yourself I'm not out for subscriber's they either watch my videos or they don't but I get asked the few odd questions. It's like yourself with the Fluval flex having green algae I've always had the diatoms but it's learning how to control the issue & how much to leave the fish that need it in there. Regarding your loss of fish that comes with the hobby & scratching your head & frustration 😉 but it's learning, Knowing your fish, knowing when something isn't right, keeping in top of water changes, keeping to a regular time on cleaning filters & knowing how much media to change as to much in one go can throw perimeters out the scale. If your enjoying it for your health go on you 👏 I took it up after losing my staffy & also have a 3ft vivarium in the bedroom with a partially blind gecko who's totally wild 😜 I enjoy it & it keeps me like yourself occupied to a certain degree but life always wants extra from we.
