I remember being lucky enough to see this performance when it first aired. It just so happens that I was flipping through the channels and there it was. This was an appearance on a Christmas speacial and they perfomred "O' Come All Ye Faithful" prior to this song.

I totally agree with you. The were absolutely awesome! As for their voices now - especially tenors - I don't thionk it's the matter of getting old, but singing with less "classical" discipline and more into a sort of fashionable popish sound. There is more "air" in that sound. But a visit or two to a good singing teacher to get back the "old" more classical sound and it will be perfect again.
