I love James Corden. By the way, I've been reading some of the comments and so many people don't realize that this had to be pre-arranged and approved by Walmart. It's not as if he walked into the store unannounced and starting working there. Be serious, people! This is also a lot of free advertising for Walmart. Notice that James never says anything negative about the company during the entire 10 minute segment like "they probably don't pay you enough" or "look at all the cheap crap from China." lol The employees are talking about their curbside pickup service, how fresh their produce is, how they're all there to help, blah, blah, blah. Just a 30 second TV ad on national TV can cost over $100,000.

Yeah it's a company wide thing. Like no doubt they stress how "important" their history of Mr. Walton (the founder) and how his morals and values are the "cornerstone of what we believe here". I used to work at Walmart for a long stretch in multiple positions, they are easy to work for after you get used to the work crunching they do (in about a months time), but management always lacks. They keep under achievers in management positions due to personality only, and they go down the upper chain distributing responsibility on each other instead of taking care of the issue themselves, they like to instill very small and menial task onto regular associates on top of their crunched regular job duties to make them, as in themselves, look like a better "supervisor" or "manager". There is a lot of mental abuse in the work place. A lot of dodgeball being played there. Pros: Easy to work for. nothing extreme Cons: Constant mental abuse, open door can be turned into an employee targeting system with high respect and personal gains involved. Take Away: Work there, But go to college. It is not a career, but simply just a way of living.
