I used to think I was a drummer until I saw you play. Now I'm okay with recognizing that I've always just been a casual enthusiast who's thrown together a few good chops along the way. I don't even say this in a "poor me" manner, because there's things out there that I find myself being exceptionally better than others at. And those things are all things that I have literally poured myself into, and with that comes the rewards of being phenomenal at something. I wish everyone would find something in life, one thing even, and try to become a master at it. We all have that ability. There's no such thing as natural talent. Some may be more prone to understanding something than others, but it takes away from the dedicated effort people pour into their passions when you say they're just 'naturally good at it.'.
