Seems like such a grounded dude. I enjoy watching guys like Felipe, Jamie, Italo, Mason, etc... because they seem to enjoy it. They can be as focused as anyone when competing, but that always seems to be a means... and not the end. The end seems to be having fun and embracing a friends and family. It’s refreshing

What you did at Jbay, shocked the world of surfing. It showed what surfing will look like in the year 2500. For for those of us who have surfed it many many times and watched it a thousand times, in person, sitting on those dunes, across 30 years, a local, we had never seen it tamed like you did. Never! No one has ever did what you did, let alone in a comp in 25 minutes, repeatedly, just to prove the previous wave was no fluke. It was unbelievable!! For me this was the greatest - highest level of surfing I have ever seen. There were so many tens between you and Jordy, unbelievable. You went above the lip and touched the stars, above and beyond with POWER, POWER, POWER, POWER surfing. SALUTE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I imagine you only can get to this level in surfing by being a genuinely good dude. He certainly has freakish talent but that will only get you so far. The J Bay and Rio clips gave me goosebumps! Again, beautiful family and insane surfing abilities. I knew he was good but... damn! That air at J Bay! Crazy where surfing has gone. His wife has a beautiful voice too. Toledo you're a lucky dude!

Wsl urgently needs to have a BR, so that it can translate the recorded videos into English and vice versa. If the crowd went crazy with this side of Felipinho, it's because they haven't seen his episode in Portuguese. I was already a fan of the videos shown on the "people on tour" and "Felipe" channel. But after the WSL one, he became my surfing idol. Not just for what he surfs, but as a man. The face of Monster! Wsl needs a Translator urgently! I believe that the number of Views will grow in an absurd way. Few Brazilians have the ability to pay for an English course, which is very expensive here in Brazil.

In CT events WSL usually gives big scores for deep barrels and clutch exists rather than long barrels. They probably consider a long barrel to be a matter of luck more than a matter of skill, and I'd agree with that.

WSL established '76....no way. They started wacking on with this name in 2015. ISP = '76. No way the ISP would award a 10 point ride for a 1 turn ride + aerial. Rail to rail action was rewarded.
