You should have tours for high school students and internship for college students. My school had them in the 60s and 70s in Indiana for science and biology classes

Good job fellas you guys are unsung heroes. But I'm the money you get for the recyclables doesn't hurt. Now if everyone had a composter to put organics in and put in their yard 👍👍👍👍👍

Wow, that's impressive! And I always thought pickers, ie. people, sorted through that stuff with each person having a specific item that they plucked from the conveyor (lol), providing many jobs in the community. I wonder if they send the 'strays' from the baling and bale storage area back through the process?

Very impressive! This should send message to California and states who want to ban Plastic Bags: Do not ban plastic bags; Recycle!

Recycling is great, and it helps alleviate the plastic problem, BUT it is not a silver bullet solution because it's still a costly process and takes up a lot of resources. It is far more impactful to stop the problem being created in the first place. Reducing the amount of plastic we consume will have a huge benefit to our environment. Keep recycling of course, but keep in mind it's at the tail end of the problem; we must reduce and reuse BEFORE we recycle.
