Around 5:36 he talks about how 'this is a first, really'. And for a split second you can see a huge pile of emotions shine through. That process must've been grueling! And the risk of losing everything you've built and put your life's energy towards.... Not to mention having to leave the land. I know people who didn't manage and had to leave. They carry that until this day.

And what is wonderful is that there are now many roundhouses in the UK and further afield and a whole low impact development policy at the Welsh Assembly, due in part to Tony and his incredible, tenacious approach.

Can such a house be heated? I mean really heated in winter? I live in the area of Europe where cold season lasts from mid October to mid April and there is also quite a lot of snow. Would such a house be suitable for that?

It is super cozy in the winter and he will mainly use the log burner to cook food and heat the house. Today he has his main round house, a second one which he calls 'the den' and a third on which is used as a workshop for him. I know this because he is my grandad. Hope this helped!

Such a shame that you ran into so much hassle because they were worried that you folks, of all people, would "harm the woods". Yet, when a typical housing development goes in, they just bulldoze everything in sight.
