Coach, What would be the Pros Cons of the "TITE" Front in 3-3/3-5 , toyed with it a bit a few seasons ago huge problem with getting the right Reads by the Backers to the play the "C" Gap while maintaining proper zone drops

PROs: (to clarify 80 percent of the time I’m bringing the dollar or star to create a 4th rusher) let’s the mike flow to the ball and makes it tough on double teams to climb to him. - if you don’t have typical body types at End and DT it allows you to put those 4I techniques in a great position to defend the run challenging to double and leverage on the tackle. Gets your “star” closer to the curl flat to limit distance he needs to travel. Can read slower and still get there. Cons: C gap opposite the blitzer is soft but I believe you can teach one of your impact players to do that job. Pin and pull stuff gives it issues. To get the most out of it, need to marry your front with your coverages

Coach, could you run this out of a 40 front? Leave things as they are on the boundary side and your R becomes T and your Dollar becomes R. How would you line up the R/Dollar?

You could! In terms of coverage stuff there’s flexibility in being able to change the forth rusher between the dollar and the star but absolutely you could do this from a 4 down structure!
