This video came right on time for me. I have been struggling with the worst attitude for a while now and it is affecting my husband and children and the entire atmosphere of our home. This was eye opening and helped me so much. I long for a joyful heart.

A few nights ago before I went to sleep, I was thinking about a situation that greatly worried me. I asked God what he wanted me to do. Immediately Be still & know I am God came to mind. I said ok I will & peacefully went to sleep. The next day the worry came back & immediately I thought of the verse that says Be anxious for nothing but in everything by prayer & supplication let your request be made known to God & the peace which surpasses all comprehension will guard your hearts & minds in Jesus Christ. You are so right Sherry. This combats negative thinking & worry. I am going to do the assignment!

As soon as you uploaded this video I knew I had to come back and watch it!! Often my prayers have been whining and complaining, then I feel bad, and say "oh sorry Lord for my whining help sme find contentment and joy" and I leave. I have to push my self to worship and focus on Him, not in me and my struggles. Now Im gonna press play. Thanks❤❤

The light bulb really went on for me when you said Joshua and Caleb didn't ignore the difficulties, they still had to fight but they did it in faith. That's really something. We still have to fight (namely in prayer), but we need the Word mixed with faith to do it. I'm going to try what you suggested, writing down my negative thoughts or problems, and asking the Lord for a verse to apply to it. I really need that in a certain area of my life. Everyday I'm troubled by one particular matter, it gets me so down and wears me out but I can't seem to find the faith to believe that the Lord is operating... I'm going to ask Him for a word so that Im Not Just trying to ignore it, but so I can fight in faith by praying His word back to Him. Thank you so much
