Beijing Subway Line 19 is the 22nd subway line in operation in Beijing, China. Construction started in 2015, and the first phase of the project (Xingong Station to Mudanyuan Station) was opened on December 31, 2021. Beijing Subway Line 19 trains use 8-car group A-type cars with a maximum width of 3.0 meters, a maximum passenger capacity of about 3,456 people, and a maximum running speed of 120 km/h. The train adopts a fully automatic operation mode and meets the GoA4 level fully automatic driving standard.
Beijing Subway Line 19 is a large-volume north-south express line running through the western part of the central city, running through the Caoqiao transportation hub and commercial core areas such as Financial Street and Peony Garden. The line starts from Xingong Station in Fengtai District, passes through Fengtai District, Xicheng District, Haidian District, and ends at Mudanyuan Station in Haidian District, roughly in a north-south direction.
The train compartment of Beijing Subway Line 19 is equipped with an LCD dynamic map, which contains information on transfer information, door opening direction, compartment location, station toilets and barrier-free facilities.
Beijing Subway Line 19 trains use an open cab, and passengers can intuitively experience the driver's perspective while ensuring safety. The train also has a number of intelligent functions such as active obstacle detection, automatic pantograph-net monitoring, and signal interconnection to ensure driving safety.
Considering the needs of passengers with large luggage on the Beijing Subway Daxing Airport Line, the Beijing Subway Line 19 trains have designed 2 special carriages. The carriages are equipped with the same type of high-speed rail seats on the left and right sides. Passengers can carry large luggage. Put it on the side of the seat to avoid crowding in the cabin.

The station looks quite a bit like the one in Taipei where I was born, we have the same signage and sliding doors. There's something to be said too about the dedication of the driver, folks are asleep while he has to go back and forth for hours on end AND pay attention. 😅

前期不能开启自动驾驶，信号区间还不完善而且一堆站还没开需要人工在区间按情况进行降速驾驶或临时停车。系统学习过后可初步在人为不干预情况下但需要监管进行看护自动驾驶。最后可实现完全无人自动驾驶座椅拆除
