Can we do more of these? Using simple props at home to make pictures look so selling a story, and not just using them before the lenses.. Lines and curves we find in and around home are quite looked over so. Id love to see something more like this one. It helps the gram and i love shooting at home. Also I'm in love with the ad😍😍

Camera obscura challenge. Did this in college and had a ton of fun. Blackout a room and create an aperture in the window (like cardboard or something) and you will see an image projected on the wall. The image will show whatever is outside of the window and it will be upside down.

Can I just say how great this video is? TBH I have been looking for more people actually giving tips on lifestyle imagery, besides offering "lifestyle presets". Love your videos. I think what we don't understand. Is what you did years ago to get this good. I remember a while back reading on a golf forum where there was someone asking about how people got to be really really good golfers. And I thought the best answer was that adults who are really really good golfers at some point when they were in high school or college, or high school AND college, they hit balls and putted and played A LOT. So I am thinking about pretending I am in high school or college and just shoot a lot this year. I don't have a school paper but I have my Instagram. Does anyone have any advice for me? I have all the gear and software I need. I just need to get over this hump from being the guy who takes good pictures of his friends to the guy who can take great pictures of everything anywhere with confidence. I am not looking to increase my followers. I am interested in just getting really good at photography.

Shoot everywhere and everything, it's not about the gear that makes you good. It's the experience of shooting tons of photos and knowing what went wrong and what went right that makes you good.

you already have a way better mindset than a lot of people. that’s exactly what we did and recommend doing - just get out there and shoot until your fingers fall off. watching youtube videos is good to get insight, but you have to actually practice all the time to improve.
