When I picked up my A7IV as my first mirrorless camera, I made the commitment to never shoot in auto mode and to do everything manually. Sure I missed a lot of shots starting out but I can hands down say I'm much better off for it. Now I actually understand all of (or at least most of) the settings and the effects they have on the final image (were talking in less than 3 months). Great video Curtis!

Thanks Curtis, really enjoying these videos. Mistakes - yes, not shooting manual. I was amazed at the difference once I’d moved to manual! Agreed about the lack of snow, we had even less here near sunny Selby but the frosts and bare countryside were amazing.
