I'm peeking on LSD and I've been playing this song for almost an hour. My instrument and I became fluid, eventually even the notes dissolved and we became an entity born out of The ether as a simple funky notion. My mind and soul transformed into music itself and found itself on another plane of existence.

Nice. I get it. I've done the same thing with shrooms on a song. When the groove ended, I was shocked back into reality, almost like I was unexpectedly cast into it from that other place. A very powerful experience.

I'm 71 years old.. When I was a kid growing up in New York City they had free concerts in Central Park.. I took my mom on a date when I was 15 or so.. We went to see Dave Brubeck. This was the 1st time that I went into an altered state of consciousness when they did take 5 . I remember vividly that my jaw dropped When Joe morello got up and was playing everything in sight playing everything inside with the sticks.. It seemed like he was playing the air also things we are also. When Joe morello got up and was playing everything in sight playing everything inside with the sticks.. It seemed like he was playing the air also.lol It was almost a mystical experience for me and to change my life for appreciating music. Also Paul Desmond on the saxophone was unbelievable. I am so fortunate for having an experience. I once also saw a body rich when I was in high school around 1967 or so . He had unbelievable control of his speed and was an awesome. Having said that nobody compares to Joe morello. To me the drumming is very complicated it, but when you listen to it it sounds simplistic in a sense that that it just builds up And up-and-up And up-and-up. I don't know if that makes any sense But he seemed to have built on his rhythm in this song. It is one of my favorite old time songs, and when I listen to it my head goes far away. I always wanted to play this on base thanks and now you have given me the notes that are beginning base player explain contrive to play. I thank you so so much.
