I’m a little confused about what exactly you are doing at 1:43. I’m trying to replicate the clean pull off and It just doesn’t sound as clear as yours. I don’t understand why you hit just slightly on the other side of the 4th fret as well. If anybody could help me understand that would be really helpful! Excellent playing by the way, I’m super excited for the day when I can play all the way through at full speed!!

He’s making a bar (barre) across the second fret with his index finger and holding it. Then he’s hammering on from the second fret to the third fret with his middle finger, then pulling off back to the second fret, which his index is still holding. The position of the finger on the fret is not for any particular reason, it’s just holding that chord means that’s where the finger comfortably lands.
@kwinaois3 жыл бұрын
That 4 fret stretch with one finger holding the barre is super tricky, so instead of the hammer on-s, I am sliding, but the bass doesn't sound good enough when I do that. How to do the 4 fret stretch, my hands and fingers are small.
@kwinaois3 жыл бұрын
I did it, I studied it, just as you showed... My fingers adapted to that frets. Thank you sir👍😀

Hi. Friend. :) Now we are making PDF(TAB) with Musicnotes.com. Maybe you can buy it within this year. Before it published, please see TAB on the video.

Same here, I'm sliding instead.. But the bass sounds wonky when I do that 🥴... I wish there was some other way, my hand is small.

Can i ask you why this song gets 3 stars of difficulty while gymnopedie gets 4 stars? I have always thought that gymnopedie is easier to learn because of its slower pace.
@JaxonBurn3 жыл бұрын
I would say it’s because it might be easier to learn, but it’s more difficult to master and play beautiful. A piece like Gymnopedie requires every note to be played absolutely perfectly and beautifully. Playing the correct notes in the correct order to tempo is less than 10% of what mastering that song would involve, whereas with a piece like this it’s more like 90%. That’s my take anyway.

Really, I think there are a lot of in accuracies in the peice. I think you should consider refering to ABRSM grade 5 video by ABRSM itself.
@pbabiesinspace6112 Жыл бұрын
Hahaha. There are a lot of inaccuracies in your grammar bro. The ABRSM version of this is absolute garbage. It is humanly impossible to play. The dude lazily ran Take Five through a notation program and didn't even fix the parts where you play a note on the 18th and 3rd frets at the same time. And it just doesn't make sense on top of that. This was carefully arranged by a real human who is an absolute master of his craft. Might want to go back to 5th grade bro.
