This satisfies me greatly, the sound is excellent.

What a Dynamite job on the sax, especially on one of the chestnuts of jazz.

as one who took up the alto sax 21 months ago, at the age of 73 -and-a-half, and who spent the first year of that period struggling tom play 'take five' ( i can make a fair fist of it now, although it's still a bit rough at the edges), i really appreciate your version, which is not only perfect technically but is also a brilliantly-original interpretation. salutations!

Thanks for your comment. Take 5 is not the easiest tune to play when starting out although it is good to have something to aim for and inspire you. Hats' off to you though for sticking at it as it is a great tune to play and very recognisable. Best wishes and enjoy your playing.

Wow.........Take Five! Take Five is my favorite jazz piece because I love this piece by Paul Desmond and Dave Brubeck quartet. Very beautiful interpretation of this famous piece. Excuse a question : what is your setup? Greetings from Italy! 🇮🇹

Hi Luciano, thanks for your comment. In answer to your question on what is my setup: My sax is a Selmer Mark IV alto, I recorded this on GarageBand using a Shure SM68 mic. Greetings and best wishes from the UK. I hope to be releasing more recordings shortly. Hope you like them.
