You can also take “live” photos and then go into edit and pick whichever frame you like. Also you can go back and turn live photos onto little videos. I love it.

Fun fact: The front and back cameras both have wide angle lenses. Taking a photograph with the front camera (like a selfie) from too close a distance will distort your face (ending up with a slightly enlarged nose, for example). Back camera definitely looks good for selfies!

When me and my current roommate and I were in high school, she desperately wanted to become a photographer (that's what she's majoring in now) but didn't have a camera, so she worked for months and spent all her savings just to buy a simple camera. I travel alone a lot and one of my easy tips to take photos of myself is to stick my phone between the prongs of my phone charger block (bc i have it w me anyways), set it on a flat surface facing where I wanna take my photo, & just start filming.
