This song is so hard to cover because of the repetitive melody of the verses. Most of the covers I've listened to the singers don't know how to bring enough variation in so that it doesn't drag. You nailed it - by changing up the emphasis from line to line, different intonation, volume variation, it's all so deceptively simple. Truly brilliant work.

This was excellent. A song that really screams your personality as well as showing the spirit of your love for singing. The beat was amazing, the vocals were on point, and the atmosphere was just gorgeous.
