I Love Your Version Of Precious Lord. As I Told You, My Family On Mama's Side Of The Family Was Very Music Oriented And Talented. This Was Grandma Janie's Favorite Hymn. As She Lost Her Sight At 52 Due To A Failed Cateract Surgery In 1953. She Played Piano From A Child. Playing By Ear As A Child As I. Then She Took Lessons From My Great Great Aunt Ettie. Grandma Janie Was Born in 1901. She Played Piano In The Silent Movies In The 1920's And Early 30's, Till They Got Sound In The Movies. She Could Play Anything From Boogie Woogie To The Classics Even After She Lost Her Sight. She Was Amazing As She Lived With Us At Mama's And Daddy's House Until Her Passing In 1974. I Was 16yrs Old Then. We Shared A Room Since I Was About 8 to 10 yrs Old. I Would Read The Bible To Her At Night Before We Went To Sleep. There Were Many Nights She Cried Herself To Sleep, Because Of The Way Her Three Sons Treated Her Because She Was Blind. Unless They Wanted Her To Babysit Or Shell Peas, Butter Beans, And Even Shuck Corn In The Summer And Then Talk About Her Like She Couldn't Hear, Just Because She Was Blind. I Really Felt Sorry About It For Her And Told Mama. She Let My Uncles Have It. I Better Hush. That Was Years Ago , But I Remember. About Precious Lord. She Would Have Me Play It For Her And She Would Listen To It Too On A 78 Lp Album And Played It On Our Piano At Home And Cry. She Was Very Tenderhearted And Never Hurt Anyone. Back Then, They Didn't Have A Blind School Close By Here In Middle Ga Where She Could Learn Braille. She Loved Dogs. I Always Wished She Could Have Went Somewhere. But The Only Place Back Then Was In NY At Guiding Eyes For The Blind. She Would Have Loved Your Singing And Preaching Carroll. But I'm Sure She Has Heard You From Heaven. I Reckon I Better Hush And Stop Rambling. Do You Ever Do Singing Like At Different Churches? I'm Not Sure Where You And Your Family Are? Ohhh , Precious Lord Was Grandma's Number One Funeral Song For Sure. I Knew So As Well As Mama Did Too. Mama Would Have Loved Your Music And Preaching Too. Daddy And My Brother As Well. That's Where I Got My Love For The Older Hymns Growing Up With Them And The Love In My Heart For Christ Jesus...Take Care Carroll, You And Your Wife And Family And Any FURBABY'S Too Have A Blessed Night And Weekend As Well...Rest Well And Sweet Dreams Too...AMEN ❤🤲😇✝️☦🛐💐🌺💖 🐾🐾🐶Bear 🐾🐾🐶Rose 🐴Hootie 🐴Grace 🐴Taffy 💛🌹⚘💞🇺🇸🖐

My husband and myself used to watch you on tv several years ago and then our network changed and we couldn’t get you any more, my husband passed away last year, but you were his favorite program to watch, I’m glad to catch a video of you again. My mom would sing this and play the piano . She never went to church but she made sure my sister's dbd I went every Sunday and Wednesday she made sure we were Baptized She played piano by ear . RIP you are in God's great kingdom you are home now . I'll be there someday save a place for me
