“Take the deleted scenes!” Or don’t! We’re here to find out if the scenes that hit the cutting room floor from Seasons 1-4 would have changed the episodes they were meant to be in. Did we need them? My head cannon is that with Kirk's odd jobs around town, he purposely compartmentalizes each job, pretending that there is no overlap whatsoever 😂 he's basically a "different kirk" every time

I hate that they kept out the deleted scene from Forgiveness and Stuff; I'll never understand why they could just never let Emily and Lorelai have a nice moment. It's like the "I'm a Kayak..." where she tells Lorelai that she's going to be fine after her divorce, then they dump all over it with the scene from the following morning where she guilt trips Lorelai over the party.

Yesssss! Like I think the scenes that weren’t cut, show how much their relationship goes up and down ALL the time but I am so sad they didn’t keep that scene in😭

I think that because young Lorelai and Rory are at the empty Independence inn makes them look like ghosts of the past 😭

I wish they had kept the hospital scene (season 1) with Emily & Lorelai because it would've shown their growth over the seasons in season 4 (the mall) and season 7 (the hospital). I do agree though with Tara's assessment of keeping that scene out.

This might be a dumb question, but are all of these deleted scenes just included in the episodes streaming on netflix ? Because that's how i watched GG and I'm pretty sure all of these scenes were in the episodes.

I was wondering the same thing....I'm not done watching this but so far, first 3 scenes are in the Netflix version! (..pretty sure about the Max one, but definitely the hospital cafeteria one I've seen on Netflix and the sneakers one between Emily/Rory.)

I sent a voicemail a while back that might answer your questions on how Rory and Brad made valedictorian and salutatorian. Rory's is more believable imo but it is possible for Brad, depending on what his homeschooling/schooling looked like. Part of my job is making sure students graduate from high school on time and choose the correct classes, so my voicemail goes through a quick version of why I think Rory made valedictorian.
