This is excellent. I only have one note: if you're on 12 in the Marriott, you can take the stairs to 10 and get access to 4x more elevators. In 2021, I had a room on 12 and only 2 elevators in that block were working all weekend.

It got so bad at Hilton that there was a line that snaked through the lobby to wait to take the elevators. And this was all day, all night. Didn't help that the elevator floors creaked and were well worn, which wasn't a thing in previous years. It's like they did a very cheap update and used the worst flooring. Elevators would stop at a floor and have a 3 to 5 inch differential to the floor it stopped at. The windowed elevators would make snapping noises constantly. Very strange convention in 2023.

I felt like I waited less for elevators in the Hilton than I ever have this year, and I was on the 25th floor. Once they had attendants and changed the banking on the elevators on Friday it all worked out.

@skipwyatt5868 I did remember seeing attendants at the Hilton on Friday and Saturday. To be honest, once Dragon moved a lot of the panels and events that I frequented to the Weston and Ameri-mart, I tend to be on the floor much less, and just basically wait out the convention until Sunday or Monday to shop at the vendors. I used to cosplay but gained a lot of weight from drinking and depression. So the wife uses the convention to have fun, and I sleep through most of it.

Previously it was a mob trying to get into the elevators. Making people wait in line and pushing handicapped through when they got there was a massive improvement. Everybody waited their turn and we never waited more than 10 minutes. The line just looked bad.
