I love all music that brings glory to God. Now days, in church it is hard to actually hear a hymn sung. Or if it is sung, it has been modified with new lyrics or tunes. There are just times I long for the hymns of old. This group do them beautifully.

is that what the song that says Purple Mountain majesty mean. That picture where all the mountains are purple that is just awesomely fantastic. Is that for real? . I so would love to see that in person.

Yes, that is "for real". There are certain times of day where there is, very simply, a wonderful light show. Sometimes it moves toward the shades of purples. In early morning in the Sierra mountains of California, it is an almost blinding white, due to the color of the stone in the mountains. In the Tetons of Wyoming, there are such light shows during broad daylight, as predictable thunder storm systems move through, almost daily, particularly in the summer. As the changing cloud cover and sunshine move across the peaks, oh, yes--it's for real! God's creation, even in this broken world, is astounding. As Romans 8 references, the creation itself groans, longing for the deliverance of completed redemption. It is going to be simply stupendous when that happens! Remember that redemption does not produce a different heavens and earth--but a NEW heavens and earth. The work of redemption leaves no aspect of God's original creation out.
