Take Time to Become Friends with Your New Low or High Whistle

We purchase new whistles because we believe we will enjoy playing it, and that it will provide the playing experience we want. But no whistle is exactly the same as another, and it takes time to learn all the aspects of a specific whistle. With that said, I want to share some wisdom from the friends in our community. Don't judge a whistle by your first impression. Take time to become friends with the whistle.
The many aspects of a whistle mean that each one plays differently, so it takes time to learn how best to play a whistle. Spend at least a week or two of regularly playing a whistle to learn it and become friends with it.

Yes 👍 was shocked at first weird shape mouthpiece of the MK like huge compared to everything else. Also letting go of what you don't really play.

Well, I gave that Chieftain a couple months. We spent a lot of time together but our relationship never blossomed into a full freindship. Sadly the Chietain will be moving out of the house next week. I'm not that depressed though. I have a new whistle in my life and we hit it off big. Things are already getting serious between us two. 👍

That’s right. I seem to remember you’ve already told me that’s what you were getting. Yes, I really want one. It is on the list waiting for the budget to catch up. It seems the ideal low D whistle from what I can tell.
