I with my new GF now and even though I love my chick, if she were to ever just dip on me, I wouldn't even flinch. I'd light up a cigar, pour a glass of Hennessey and chill knowing that something BIG in a good way is about to happen in my life. I don't know why this happens but every time I went through a breakup, my life got way better.

I went through a brutal breakup 13 years ago. My then GF suddenly broke up with me after 5 years together only to see a pic of her engaged with her new man 3 months later. That shit FUCKED ME UP REAL GOOD. No food, No sleep, No desire to do ANYTHING. It was the best thing that ever happened to me. I got extremely ripped and lean. Plus started a business on the side and hooked up with a ton of dimes. As fucked up as I was, it was necessary to elevate me to be a better Man.

UPDATE. I have taken the proper due time for myself to heal, I worked hard on my mental game and inner core and honestly I am in a better place now. Since then I have changed/rediscovered my life for the better. I sometimes share bits and pieces of it on social media (instagram) but not excessive, I would say at most 1-2 posts a week. Now, I been catching up with some lady friends recently who had spoken with my ex. They told me she was feeling upset that it seemed like I had moved on too quickly, like a spit to her face and our 5 year relationship. (i already disagree with the pretense that posting on social media = moving on, but whatever). I was surprised to hear my lady friends agreed with her on this sentiment but they did admit this being totally irrational. Still, I was being asked to 'tone it down a bit' for a while and to 'show some compassion.' My rational mind told me what I can do is within my control, but there are many things she can but has yet to exercise within her own power to remedy the situation (blocking me, or simply don't view my updates). Ofc, now that it has been brought to my attention, I don't want to be unnecessarily cruel to someone I used to love and still care for, so I took up the simple act of removing her from my 'close friends' group on instagram. Uncle Rom, wonder how you would handle a situation like this - as it essentially comes down to knowing what is the right thing to do?

She hasn't been in my life for almost 3 months; I hope she is healing as I want her to get better. I'm at peace for the first time in my life. I got some evident traumas behind my late father of 14kids passing back in 2021 and being mostly raised by a single mother.
