During the Ambitions tours Taka would sing the song this way with the long pause at the beginning, but it really only worked well in Japan where audiences can be silent for that long. Overseas, people would always start screaming and stuff. Taka's commented on that a few times. 😅 He said that he would just have to start singing even if it was still loud and didn't go silent because otherwise they would be waiting forever and things would be awkward. Take me........... to the top?? Have you listened to "Take me to the top" yet? I think you would like it. LoL. Nozy Bro was ready to start the video all over again at the end there.

Yeah we noticed that in the Melbourne concert too! Taka would go full ham high notes but everyone would scream with him and u cudnt really hear him when he went ham... unfortunately the crowd goes too loud when it should be a moment for Taka to show his amazingness. Hahaha yes i wanted to begin again at the end hahahaha

To explain the two minutes of silence, they were showing respect to Chester (Lead Singer of Linkin Park) as he passed away and OOR were going to play an opening show for them, that tour has been canceled in his honor and OOR paid 2 minutes of silence for him.

So true, I was there in Singapore as well. I remember people around me was kinda telling others to keep quiet. Also, one thing that's quite unforgettable, I remember seeing the venue staff faces when looking at us around the end of the concert, they were surprised n smiled at us, bcuz suddenly everyone just so pumped up, we were singing louder n went mental.

this version with the slow opening is the one that oor played for most their ambitions era, the version you heard is the one they've been playing for their eye of the storm era. that's one of the things i appreciate about oor. they change things up with their live arrangements from time to time to either improve the performance or simply to keep things fresh. I think it's one of the ways you can see that they really care about delivering the best live show they possibly can.

"Take Me" -To The Top- (yes, that's an OOR song reference) This version of is definitely the best one! The way Taka 'scream' "Can you hear me?" after the silence is just amazing. There are two versions of OOR albums since 35xxxv, the English and Japanese one, the one on spotify is only the English version, that's probably why you guys don't know the Japanese version, lol! On a side note, I want you guys to react to kzbin.info/www/bejne/opq5Z6yMpquqfM0 It's a funny interview with Taka and Ryota! Their English wasn't as good as now, but that makes it even more fun!
