Have you considered making "how to play this song" videos? There are lots of these types of videos on KZbin, but not with someone who is as experienced as you. I'm an older player who plays lead for our church, playing CCM style for only about 6 months. This would be a great resource for players looking for someone who knows different styles, and how to implement them in worship services. Thanks for all you are doing for us in the guitar world.
@stephenhanlin23888 ай бұрын
A good idea. Or, like an “in the style of” type videos would work too

Thanks for sharing, Rusty. It's quite a set-up your band and church has. At our previous church, there were some Sundays, where it was just me on an acoustic, and myself and the wife on vocals.
@TheWorshipGuitarChannel28 ай бұрын
We do have a big church! I know you and your wife enjoy serving the Lord! Thanks for watching🙏
@shadowminister40908 ай бұрын
@RustysWorshipGuitar2 We enjoyed our involvement with the music at the time, however, it ended badly for us. The wife worked in the Church office, and over a period of time, the place became toxic, due to the involvement of political activists. A number of people left that Church and eventually the wife was managed out of her job. Up to that point, because of her job, we felt trapped there. We have been at our new Church for 6-7 years, and while we aren't involved in the music, it's a great Church. Despite the hurt (and it was significant), it has been a real blessing to move to a Church where the focus is on Jesus, and not on protest rallies. -Rod

Sound great brother! would love to see the settings on your Timeline dual delay. I can never get it dialed in to sound this good.
@TheWorshipGuitarChannel27 ай бұрын
Thanks so much! I will do a breakdown of some of my settings soon. But I use the dual delay a lot. Not too heavy in the mix, but it kind of washes with the reverb to create a great sound. Catch you later, buddy.🙏

Love the joyful expression Rusty! We’re you doing volume swells with just the volume knob or volume pedal? In Nashville numbers, we’re you playing 1 5 4? Would love a break down of the triads you chose to play around for this song. Thanks, Rusty!

I do have a volume pedal on the floor of my pedalboard. I’m using a lot of different techniques in this tune so a breakdown might be a good lesson. Thanks for checking out my videos.🙏
